The result of a collaboration between Brad Ascalon and Snøhetta for the Joslyn Art Museum expansion project, the Omaha bench was developed to meet 3 distinct requirements. The bench had to possess a timeless form well-suited to the Joslyn Art Museum’s diverse range of environments. It needed to be an uncompromising contemporary design itself. And it had to be comfortable and supportive for longer sits to linger and reflect.
